About Me
I'm Emma, a 30-something single woman from a small town in the South East of England with the Sussex Countryside on my doorstep.
I've always loved a good holiday (who doesn't) but for the last 7-8 years at least my holidays have been far more adventurous, awe-inspiring, emotional and just down right incredible, than I ever thought possible. There's nothing I enjoy more than starting a new year with a blank spreadsheet (i'm a Project Manager by trade so everything is done with a spreadsheet) and a world atlas ready to start a new holiday plan.
The main question I ask myself - On my death bed, hopefully many MANY years from now, what would I regret having never seen?
I have been beyond lucky over the last few years in the things that I have experienced -
Having my hair ruffled by a very inquisitive and playful young elephant in South Africa; Nearly dying (not a huge exaggeration) on a deserted beach in the middle of the night in a full force blizzard in Iceland; Having a humpback whale emerge so close to the zodiac I was sitting in that I got drenched by the blowhole water; Having to climb down a 3000 metre mountain with just a very rickety ladder and no rope to keep me from plunging to my death.
All of these experiences, all of these places and all of the people that I have met on the way are the things that I will cherish and all of the photographs that I have taken to preserve these memories I've decided to start sharing with my friends, family - and now you - to give an insight into the world of Emma.
